The report consists of three parts

• Part 1 - a compilation of all previous surveys in a given format

• Part 2 - airport-specific assessment of suitable measures, their costs, and prioritization of measures according to cost/effect

• Part 3 - assessment of whether there is a risk of local effects as a result of the pollution

At the airports, a total of 59 locations were investigated for PFAS, and most of the surveys are related to active and closed-down fire training areas. 

Harstad/Narvik, Kristiansand, Oslo, and Svalbard are not included in the order as there are ongoing separate processes with the environmental authorities regarding these.
