    Responsible Purchasing

Setting requirements when we purchase goods and services is a powerful tool to protect people and the environment. Therefore, responsible purchasing is an important part of our sustainability work. We want to maintain a high ethical standard in all purchases and ensure that we have responsible suppliers. All suppliers are required to adhere to our ethical guidelines for suppliers. These cover areas such as human rights, labor rights, the environment, and business ethics.

    Ethics & Human Rights

Avinor is subject to the public procurement regulations. Through these regulations, we are obligated to have appropriate procedures to promote respect for fundamental human rights in public procurements where there is a risk of violating such rights. At Avinor, we set high standards for our suppliers and business partners. Avinor seeks to contribute to developing and positively influencing our suppliers through market and supplier dialogue, in addition to general contract follow-up.

Suppliers and business partners wishing to compete for contracts with Avinor must, among other things, commit to adhering to our principles of responsible business conduct. We require that international human rights are respected, and that our contractual partners do not contribute to any violations of these rights.
